Terms and Conditions

Important Information

Upon acceptance of our services, kindly provide us with copies of all veterinary documentation. These

documents will be reviewed by our specialist to ensure they are accurate and compliant with the

requirements of the destination country.

Please note that a travel date can only be confirmed once all documents have been verified.

Sky Companion requires a minimum of 27 days’ notice for the preferred departure date. This lead time allows

us to coordinate with airlines and secure the necessary logistics for your pet’s travel.

Once the flight has been booked, full payment of the updated travel quote for the month of departure will

be required.

may result in the postponement of travel.

Original Documents

All pets must travel with their original veterinary

documentation. It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure

that all necessary paperwork, including vet books, laboratory

test results and official certificates are provided to Sky

Companion before departure, including in time for any state

veterinary endorsements.

2. Pet Health

The client must ensure that all pets scheduled for travel are in

good health and fit to fly, to the best of their knowledge. Any

pre-existing medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries must be

disclosed in writing before collection. It is also the client’s

medication name, type, dosage, and administration schedule.

Use of Tranquillisers

Tranquillisers are strictly prohibited for both domestic and

international travel. Such substances can adversely affect a

pet’s heart rate, blood pressure, stress levels, and muscle

control. Natural alternatives may be provided if necessary.

Airlines reserve the right to refuse check-in for pets suspected

to be under sedation. Sky Companion will not be liable for any

delays, denied boarding, or consequences arising from this.

Tranquillizers will not be administered by Sky Companion

under any circumstances, even if recommended or prescribed

by a veterinarian.

Travel Items

For safety reasons, collars and leashes must not be worn

during transit. These items can be securely attached to the

pet’s crate. Sky Companion assumes no liability for any lost or

missing items during transit.

Crate Requirements

It is the client’s responsibility to confirm the correct

measurements and crate size for their pet(s). Any necessary

upgrades in crate size will be at the client’s expense.

Travel Dates and Airline Operations

Travel dates will only be confirmed once the deposit has been

received and all documentation verified.

Sky Companion and its agents are not responsible for delays,

cancellations, or document losses caused by third-party airline

services. Any flight interruptions, schedule changes, cargo

restrictions, or embargoes are beyond our control.

the client. Should a flight be cancelled or suspended, Sky

Companion will cover the cost of one night’s accommodation

at one of our preferred kennel partners.

paid in full upon receipt. All services must be settled prior to

the pet’s departure.

Any additional services requested by the client after the

issuance of the initial quote will be invoiced separately and

must be paid upon receipt.

scheduled departure. Failure to meet this deadline may result

in cancellation or additional charges.

In the event of cancellation by the client, written confirmation

must be provided to your Sky Companion specialist.

Cancellations made fewer than seven days before departure

will incur a charge of 10% on refundable costs.

Any applicable refunds will be processed within 10 business
